Instrument: Team Performance Framework

Trust in the team was never the question. Structure was.

Team Performance Framework
Two workshops. Six team members scored across nine criteria including direction clarity,
collaboration confidence, tool fit, and stress tolerance. The scoring was anonymous. The patterns were not.
Workshops
Workshop 1: Diagnosis: the team had trust. What it lacked was structure to operate within.

Workshop 2: Evaluation: friction reduced. Accountability beginning to distribute.

"We were able to expand the studio while caring for the people at the same time.
This has left a deep mark on the way we work."

People first. Business second. As a studio founder, I feel grateful to have Bastiaan on my side.
Someone to call up day and night if there is a challenge or a newly born ambition. Someone to
bounce ideas off and get reality checks with, to increase growth as a person and as a business."

The work was not about making things easier. It was about making the hard things clearer.
Together, we put structure around the instinct. The instinct got sharper.

Instrument: Four-Area Decision Map

We put every piece of the puzzle on the table before touching a single one.
That is what fifteen minutes can do when the structure is already in place.

Situation
A major client. An international engagement in a territory where multiple governments had issued active travel advisories.

Together, we mapped every dimension of the decision in fifteen minutes. Four areas. All layers surfaced before a single answer was given.
The question at the centre
Where does the studio need to be in one to five years? Does this client need to reach that position?
And if the client walks, how does the studio recover?
Outcome
The studio sat this one out on ethical grounds. We wrote the letter together. The client found a replacement for the event and continued the collaboration. The relationship held. The values held.

The studio chose its people over the commission.
The client respected that. What looked like a risk turned out to be the most effective thing the studio could have communicated about itself.

Together, we set the conditions to perform.
